I need to train the deep nasal breathing and I should do it not only for the dance, but also at any time. The more I do it the better it is to get me into the habit. I try to increase the exhalation and breathe the air without a trace. This kind of breathing ensures the supply of more fresh, oxygenated air into the lungs. Our common mistake of breathing is in this fact that not all of the air leaves the lungs. There are too many "old" airs with a high content of carbon dioxide. This old air can be the cause of the lung or heart disease. I control closely my breath during my workout. The workout is designed to prepare the body, especially muscles, for the upcoming high load during the dance. At the same time vessels expand, the oxygen uptake increases by tissues. I dedicate this not less than five minutes. And I am not in a hurry during this important session. I breathe slowly and deeply through my nose. I do the next dance moves at a slow pace, without holding my breath. It helps me to bring into operation the necessary muscle groups and avoid some diseases. Now my goal is to learn how to breathe properly during the dance. My body will always beep me when my body goes into anaerobic mode. I smile. I smile, but I do not breathe through the mouth. However, it does not worth to be over-zealous with nasal breathing. I just breathe and remain natural. I need a break between dances. Again, I practice nasal breathing. When I decide to get serious dancing, and even participate in competitions, I find that breaks between performances are quite small. In a short period of time I have time to catch my breath. I do not spend those precious seconds on the mouth breathing shallow. I focus on my nose breathing. I shut my mouth (keep smiling), and my nose takes beautiful clean air. I feel like it fills my lungs. It calms me, the heartbeat becomes less, the brain and muscles are filled with oxygen, and I'm ready to dance again and again. I insure the purity of my airway before dance classes. If I have a disease of my nose, I immediately take steps to correct the problem. I avoid trendy spray to improve breathing, as if they are widely advertised. Yes, it's a good thing, but at the wrong time they can cause unwanted reactions and to snarl the disease. So I use the guaranteed-friendly way of our grandmothers. I wash the nasal cavity of saline. And I carry a mandatory rule of dancers - I always take a clean handkerchief to the dance!
